Weekend pictures
What a great weekend. These are the toilet paper pots Paul and I made to start our seeds for the garden in, very green.

Second generation...another GaGa
This is the new baby Olivia got for her birthday. I don't know who gave it to her but she does not like to be without her. Reminds me a little of her Aunt Hali. I like the way she sucks the baby's hand. And she loves to give the baby kisses. It was hysterical when she discovered and compared her own bare feet to the baby's bare feet.

They have quite a bit
They have quite a bit of clothing on to keep them warm. It was pretty cool for a bike ride. Yet notice the missing helmets. Beautiful and deceitful.

A weekend to remember
Just one week ago I was in a wonderful city, with the most wonderful man in the world, looking at another man's wonderous works. Wonders of wonders!

Handmade Birthday Presents
I had to post the pictures over three blog entries to get everything in. Hali and I both made presents to mark Olivia's very special first birthday. Hali bought her a fabric tea set and then made the basket to hold it all, and she made it without a pattern. I'm so proud of her! And she matched the fabrics perfectly.
I made Olivia an embroidered sampler book with photo transfer pages of her and her parents and Paul and I. It took quite a bit of time but I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out!

Here are some pictures marking
Here are some pictures marking the last week or so. Nick brought Olivia down for us to see her yesterday. We hadn't seen her in two weeks. I also have a picture of my new haircut which both Paul and Hali say looks like the same one I had in high school when I met Paul. We had snow last Saturday, hopefully the last of the season. It didn't amount to much here, but it did in KC. Finally we, (I) have named my bird. Meet Dexter. His name will not change again, although after the naming process was over I did hear the name Gizmo and thought that would have been great but indeed already it had taken me too long to decide. And finally, my new machine, the intimidator, until it embroidered Olivia's name and then I was in love. The two of us are looking forward to many happy hours and projects together. Who knew what I was missing?!
