I do believe the week
between Christmas and New Year’s is my favorite week of the year. However things turned out, Christmas day is
over and it’s intermission. It’s time to
slow down and take a deep breath. For me
the rush to finish everything by Christmas always comes down to the wire. Even this year, when I had an extra day, I
was working up to the moment things were packed into the car for delivery.

November Yarn Along
We've finally had some sweater weather. I’ve now had several chances to wear the sweater I finished knitting in June. I knit it during the shutdown; finishing it up just before the election work ramped up.
Now those days I dreamt
about are here. Over the weekend I
finally got to some fall gardening, putting flower beds right, planting bulbs
and planting in the greenhouse. My
oldest granddaughter, (she’s 12) actually volunteered to come and help me. And to my surprise, she was a huge help.
